I love your albums. You sound really authentic! I heard that you are not from Jamaica-- how did you learn how to speak Jamaican Patois so well?

Answer:

Thanks for the encouragement. No, although some of our members are from the Caribbean, I am not of Jamaican descent. I learned Patois from all of my 14 extended visits to Jamaica. Also, each time that I came back from the island I returned with a whole bunch of dancehall mix tapes and a stack of records. I guess you could say that I learned most of what I know from those tapes and my personal experiences on the island.
