Got talent? GospelReggae.com is looking for the best in underground, independent and unsigned Christian Reggae and Dancehall artists for GospelReggae.com’s first compilation album. The CD will be titled “BOOMSHOTS!-- The Best Of The Underground Vol. 1”. If you are an unsigned gospel reggae artist that has music that needs to be heard, here is your chance to submit your jams to GospelReggae.com. Submissions will be accepted starting June 5th, 2006. All Submissions for Volume 1 must be received by July 25th, 2006.
Every submission will be screened for objectionable material and quality. The goal is to find and give a voice to the hottest undiscovered Gospel Reggae deejays and singers from around the around the world. This could be your big break! All it takes is one song!
GOSPELREGGAE.COM “BOOMSHOTS!” THE BEST OF THE UNDERGROUND” Rules and Regulations
1. Submission for this album is open to all GospelReggae artists who are amateur performers and songwriters. You may not submit a song for this compilation if you have received more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00 US) in royalty income for songwriting or recording services within the past year. No song or recording of a song may be entered that has been: 1) licensed; 2) placed under contract for commercial sale with any label, publisher or other entity; or 3) selected in any other song or recording contest.
2. You may enter as many original songs as you wish, but each entry requires a separate entry form. Mail-in entries must prepare and submit one (1) compact disc of their original performance of an original unpublished song, together with a plain piece of 8 1/2; “ x 11” paper, typed or clearly hand printed containing entrant's full name, address, area code, phone number and email address to:

For e-mail entries, you must submit one copy of your original unpublished song as an attached .mp3 file to: GospelReggae@aol.com
The subject of the e-mail must read “BOOMSHOTS”.
The body (message portion) of the e-mail must contain the entrant's full name, address, area code, phone number and email address. If your song is selected you will be contacted and required to mail in an AIFF version of your song on CD and sign a short agreement.
All mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than Midnight (CST) on July 16th, 2006. and received by July 26th, 2006. GospelReggae.com is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, stolen or misappropriated entries. GospelReggae.com is not responsible for faulty file attachments accompanying e-mail entries sent to GospelReggae@aol.com
3. Only recordings of original unpublished songs will compete. Each entry must be written or co-written by entrant. Recorded songs may have multiple co-writers, but the person submitting each song must control the rights to their submission. Each entry of a recording, including the underlying song as embodied in the recording, must be wholly original and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third party. Each entrant shall indemnify GospelReggae.com, its directors, officers, agents, licensees and affiliated companies including but not limited to Lion of Zion Entertainment, and hold it harmless from and against any claims inconsistent with these requirements. In the event that GospelReggae.com determines, in its absolute and sole discretion that any entry is or may be violative of the rights of any third party, GospelReggae.com shall have the right to disqualify such entry.
4. All eligible entries will be voted on by a panel of judges, consisting of GospelReggae.com's A&R, marketing staff, artists and industry professionals on the basis of originality, creativity and commerciality, in order to determine, in the absolute and sole discretion of the Judges, which recordings will be included on GospelReggae.com's “BOOMSHOTS” Volume 1. The decision of the Judges is final and binding. Entries not complying with the rules will be disqualified. No entries will be returned.
5. The best 12-16 songs received (as decided by our panel of judges) will be included and compiled on “BOOMSHOTS! THE BEST OF THE UNDERGROUND VOL. 1” to be distributed and used in the absolute and sole discretion of GospelReggae.com. The Winning Recordings will be notified by mail, e-mail or phone. In consideration of the winning recordings being included on this compilation album, each winner execute and return in the time prescribed below GospelReggae.com's standard single song publishing agreement and gratis master use license for the inclusion of the winning recording on the album within fourteen (14) days of notification date. Failure to sign and return the qualification documents within fourteen (14) days or the providing of false and/or inaccurate information therein will result in immediate disqualification and alternate winners will be selected. Qualification documents of winners under eighteen (18) years of age at time of award must be countersigned by a parent or legal guardian. Qualification documents subject to verification by GospelReggae.com and its agents. Each winner that returns the qualification documents, whose information has been verified by GospelReggae.com will receive ten (10) gratis copies of “BOOMSHOTS! THE BEST OF SUBMISSIONS VOL. 1”
6. By entrants submitting their recordings of their song for GospelReggae.com's consideration, such entry constitutes permission to use entrants' names, likenesses and voices for advertising and publicity purposes without additional consideration and entrants expressly consent that in the event that their recording is selected by the Judges for posting on the GospelReggae.com website, GospelReggae.com will have the absolute right to post the recording for performance and sales whether in CD, digital downloads or any other format, publicize the names and likenesses of the performer, artist, and/or group (including the name and likeness of all individual members of a group) embodied in the recording for no additional consideration.
7. All federal, state and/or local rules and regulations apply. The GospelReggae.com BOOMSHOTS! submissions contest is void where prohibited by law. Winner is responsible for any and all taxes associated with the acceptance of the prize. Winner accepts all liabilities for use of prize. GospelReggae.com and its affiliated companies accept no liability or responsibility for damages, losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance or use of any prize. By entering, entrant releases GospelReggae.com and Lion of Zion Ent. INC, including their affiliated companies, as well as their Directors, Officers, Employees, Representatives, Agents and Advisors from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from entry or participation, including, but not limited to incidental, indirect or consequential damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. By entering, entrant agrees to abide by, and be bound by, all GospelReggae.com Recordings' decisions relating to the Contest, which are final and binding in all respects.
8. If for any reason the Contest cannot be conducted as planned, GospelReggae.com reserves the right to cancel/modify/suspend the contest and conduct the contest from all eligible entries received, if any. If too many submissions are received, GospelReggae.com has the right to extend the contest and include all Volume 1 submissions in the judging of Volumes 2 and beyond. GospelReggae.com, including, without limitation, its affiliates, is not responsible for multiple entries entered by other than human means or other mechanical means, or for entries that are late (including delayed data transmission) illegible, mutilated, forged, tampered with, destroyed, incomplete, lost, misdirected, mechanically duplicated, mass machine printed, or postage-due, or entries otherwise not in compliance with these official rules (and all such entries will be disqualified). GospelReggae.com, including, without limitation, its affiliates, is not responsible or liable for any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or any damage to an entrant's or third person's computer and its contents.
